With a career spanning over four decades and multiple continents — Essex, London, San Francisco, Miami, the Caribbean, and now Laguna Beach — Tracy brings world-class expertise to every cut she crafts.
She began her journey as an apprentice in Essex, quickly rising through the ranks to run Topshop’s flagship salon on Oxford Circus. From there, she styled on Carnival Cruises before becoming the founding force behind The British Hair Company, where she’s spent the past 20 years setting the gold standard in precision hair cutting.
Known across the industry for her technical mastery, Tracy specializes in sharp pixie cuts, structured short layers, and modern bobs that move with natural ease. Her philosophy? Hair should be wearable, flattering, and tailored to each client’s lifestyle — and every shape should hold up beautifully between visits.
Style-wise, Tracy is a mix of boho chic, British cheek, and brilliantly bold — always honest, always direct, and always about great hair.
Can’t-live-without product: Aveda’s Invati Advanced Scalp Serum — her go-to for thicker, fuller, healthier hair.
Can’t stand: Heights.
Current obsessions: Short layers on bob shapes… although a crisp, clean pixie still reigns supreme.
Hair mantra: “The right tools and products make everything easier.

Jeannine’s career spans coasts, couture, and color — beginning in New York City under the mentorship of legendary stylists David Groshen and Rodney Cutler, before bringing her talents west to Los Angeles and now building her base in Orange County.
After establishing herself at Drybar and Blo-Bar Beverly Hills, where she refined the art of the flawless blow-dry, Jeannine continued her career at José Eber Salon before joining celebrity colorist Johnny Ramirez at Olin Salon — ground zero for the iconic Lived-In Color™ technique. Today, she brings that experience together with a lifestyle-driven approach that fits perfectly with Southern California living.
With 20 years behind the chair, Jeannine is known for dimensional lived-in color and precision men’s grooming all delivered with her signature calm, classy-chic presence. Her chair is a space defined by thoughtful listening, clear consultation, and results that feel effortless rather than intimidating.
“This isn’t rocket science — it’s great hair. It should be given with a smile.”
Before hair, Jeannine studied electrical engineering, giving her a natural understanding of shape, structure, and symmetry — a foundation that shows in her cutting, color placement, and long-term wearability.
Current vibe: Wolf cuts, warm tones, lived-in texture
Can’t-live-without: Aveda Cherry Almond Conditioner — loyal since the ’80s
Fun fact: Her science and math background made pivot-point cutting feel instinctive
Hair mantra: Change is good. Don’t be afraid to explore

Originally from New York, Donna brings 40 years of elite, city-honed experience to The British Hair Company — a master stylist shaped by some of the most demanding and respected training environments in the industry.
Her education spans both The British School of Barbering and Vidal Sassoon New York, giving her a rare dual foundation: classic British precision paired with modern New York edge. That pedigree is evident in her razor work, structural cutting, and ability to create blondes and light-reflective color that feel effortless, balanced, and timeless.
Donna specializes in blonding, hair extensions, men’s grooming, and precision and razor cutting, with a particular talent for natural, lived-in results that grow out beautifully. Her aesthetic blends New York polish with beach ease and a Parisian sensibility — confident, refined, and never overworked.
What truly defines Donna’s work is her approach. She builds every service around listening — understanding what has worked, what hasn’t, and how her guests actually live with their hair day to day. That thoughtful consultation creates trust, clarity, and consistently exceptional results.
“Healthy hair is beautiful hair.”
A firm believer in hair health as the foundation of great style, Donna champions deep conditioning treatments and professional at-home care as essential, not optional.
Current inspirations: French bobs, butterfly and wolf cuts, face-framing layers, and natural, high-shine lived-in color.
Can’t-live-without: Deep conditioners — because quality hair is always worth the investment.
Fun fact: Donna danced professionally — and that sense of movement and balance still shows in her cutting.
Client words: Friendly. Professional. Creatively passionate. Confidently knowledgeable

Laguna local Leslie is not just our Aveda Ambassador — she’s part of the very fabric of this town. More than a familiar face at our front desk, she blends luxury with laid-back charm in a way only a true Lagunan can.
Before gracing our salon, Leslie honed her impeccable guest care skills at Nordstrom and managed The Stand — one of Laguna’s most beloved health food spots. Today, she’s the expert behind every tailored Aveda recommendation. With 4 years guiding guests at The British Hair Company (and countless perfect product pairings later), Leslie thrives on being first to explore new Aveda launches and sharing that insider magic.
Her approach? “I always ask what you’re using now and what isn’t working. From there, it’s all about finding a custom solution that makes your life easier and your hair healthier.” It’s no wonder Aveda’s Miraculous Oil is her personal must-have for adding shine and protection — absolutely essential under Laguna’s sun.
Leslie’s attention to detail ensures every guest feels seen, pampered, and just a bit more fabulous.
Her teammates would describe her in three words: blonde, accessorized, consistent — and honestly, that says it all.
Guest words: Warm. Knowledgeable. Effortlessly luxe.
Fun fact: Leslie studied opera — so don’t be surprised if your salon soundtrack suddenly levels up.
Top advice: “The right products are everything. They’re how you get the results you really want at home.

Paul is the driving force behind The British Hair Company’s brand, strategy, and unforgettable guest experience. As co-owner and marketing lead, he’s the mastermind behind every campaign, salon photo shoot, product push, profile edit (including this one 👀), and cheeky Instagram caption you can’t help but read twice.
From managing SEO and booking flow to conceptualizing themed window displays and coordinating team culture, Paul blends precision, personality, and a touch of British mischief into everything the salon does. He’s also the calm voice on the phone (often remote), making it all sound effortless — like a caffeinated Uhura on the bridge of the Enterprise (minus the uniform… for now).
Married to Tracy (yes, that Tracy), Paul helped build The British Hair Company into Laguna Beach’s only Aveda Concept Salon — a space that fuses London polish with SoCal cool, powered by plant-based beauty, creative excellence, and one of the most loyal teams in the business.
Known for: Knowing what needs doing before anyone else does.
Secret sauce: Google algorithm wizardry, marketing intuition, hidden Spurs jokes, and low-key genius-level logistics.
Fun fact: He’s probably designing next season’s window campaign… during this conversation
